How long do you think it takes to write a poker book?

Ed Miller told me it took him about six months for each of his books.

But, I'd guess that Ed did about 1/4 of the work in the first four months. And, then 3/4 of the work in the last two months after Mason kept calling him every 15 minutes for updates on the book's status.

I believe it depends greatly on the desired length, the amount of time dedicated to it per day/week, and the content of the book. Familarity with the subject matter can also significantly influence the time from to start to finish due to time needed for research.

I'm currently writing one, but do to my busy schedule I only dedicate 1.5 hours a day to work on it. However, I write more than that if I have time at the end of the day. I'm not under a deadline, so I guess I'll finish it whenever.
