Default PL1000 6-Max

Table has been kinda loose so the range of hands they are calling with are a bit wider, also this is pot limit. My main problem is with the flop. I dont want to get blown off my hand by someone with a 10. When i pick up outs on the turn again i am worried i might get check raised so i checked the turn. Thoughts about how i played the hand?

Blown off? You have 9 high. I don't think that qualifies as getting blown off. Blown off means you fold when you should call, and you should not be calling any bets here regardless. You have tempo, use it.

There are very few hands that can call a bet from you, but a much wider range of hands that can bet when checked to. A ten simply can't raise here and may very well fold. You don't need to worry about getting "blown off." And if you check/fold you may very well have gotten them to fold by betting. Small pocket pairs, for instance, may bet when checked to but fold when bet at. This flop can hit people in far fewer ways than your average flop and necessitates a bet.

Having checked the flop, I don't think you can bet the turn. It's either a monster or 2 overcards that picked up a draw. The latter is more likely.
