Default 83o, $100nl full ring

I'm on the button last night in a $100nl game on bodog, 2 limpers to me and I raise 5bb to $5. 3 callers.

Flop is 2 3 7 with all diamonds, and I've got the 8 of diamonds.

Everyone checks to me and I bet $15

What do you think?

I realize this is an "out of the kiddy pool" hand but I don't think I like this at all.

First of all, who are the limpers? If they are loose players trying to see a cheap flop with garbage then *maybe*. As well, why not wait and raise up a lesser hand that at least has some outs. Like a 76s or something? I really don't see the need to do this in this spot. By the way, once you get 3 callers and 3 diamonds come out, I'm pretty sure you should be done with this experiment.

preflop, i honestly dont mind the play. youve got position and everyone else is showing weakness. just dont try to make this play against a player who doesnt know better than to fold his J5soooted to a raise.

with that flop i woudlnt even fire again. theres probably going to be a big diamond out there or possibly an overpair, so i would check it and on the turn if its checked to you again then go ahead and bet, probly around the pot size since theyre gonna need 4-1 to call with their flush draw its less likely theyll gamble for it.(if someone calls or shows strength your gonna have to give it up)

also by checking on the flop and betting on the turn you could be representing the flush since you were the preflop raiser and didnt bet again on the flop.

Fine. Keep betting if they keep checking to you, make sure to throw out a bet on the river if the 4th [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] doesn't come.

I'm doing my own person 8 buy in challenge on BoDog. I started with $400 and now I'm at $100nl

Also the 20% bottomless bonus is nice.

This is just stupid. At least wait for 87o or even 86o or something... you need SOME way to get lucky and make the nuts if your bluff doesn't work, and 83o doesn't do it too much. If you're raising every single hand from the button then you're going to get looked up too much and just piss away money with 83o, and if you're not raising every single hand from the button, then this should be one of the times that you're folding.
