Default damn overcards...without position too.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 8 handed) converter

Villian hasn't done anything out of control. Loose and passive I suppose, typical partier.

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, CO calls, 3 folds.

Flop: (5.50 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Should I be worried with his call on the flop and pack it up on the turn?

Turn: (3.75 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

River: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero ???

I think you played fine so far. Check/fold the river.

Check fold. He could have been on a straight draw on the flop but that 5 would have given him either the straight or a pair. I don't see what he could call down with that you beat and I don't think he will fold if he called the flop and the turn. The chance you are ahead is much smaller than the pot odds if he bets in my opinion, especially since he isn't the out of control kind of player.

Yeah check/fold was what I thought was the right play. I highly doubt he was bluffing.

I bet the flop, check the turn and come over the top if villian bets. He three-bets and I fold.

If villian is still there at the river you've lost. I don't think he's going to fold here for 1 BB.

What if he just calls? Do you check/fold the river then or lead?

Pre-flop and flop look good. I often bet the turn as you did, but unless you think there is a good chance CO is going to fold, I think a check/call on both the turn and the river is the way to go.

Of course if CO has been playing consistent garbage then value bets on the turn/river are in order unless he shows some strength with a raise.

I don't think I like this line on the turn. Given the read on CO, I think it is likely that the turn is checked through. If he does bet the turn, I think you either call and check/call the river, or fold to his bet on the turn. I don't think CO bluffs on the turn enough to make the check/raise profitable.
