Default Have a decision to make...

I am adding some outdoor living space to my home and need to decide whether to use pavers or wood decking.

Space will be 400-450sq. ft and needs room for 8 person spa, grill, barbeque smoker, and good sized table. House is new so nothing to tear out. Also I will be contracing this out as I do not have oodles of time to work on anything.

Any relevant experience/comments on which route is better?

Thanks,

Orange

use this here

well sell and install this at the company i work for --- i dont really care for the woodgrain look option

its more expensive than standard treated lumber but i s really nice --- ive helped build quite a few decks with it and the have all turned out awesome

its nonslip so its work well with the hottub and with the hidden fasteners it has a smooth look

those pavers look good also, i guess it really depends on your preference --- im not sure if id sit the hottub directly on that surface though

cheers

I really think you are going to have to put a concrete slab down for the Spa anyway. I have a patio, rather than a deck at my house. I just like the fact that maintenance is easier. That being said, I would choose the pavers.
