Final Pot: 11.70 BB Thinking behind the flop is to get the button out in case he has overcard outs that he will call for one and not two. Once he is gone, I am in call down mode/bet if checked to. Sound about right? I thought for a minute about folding the river. Are there any opponents that you would do this against? Villians stats were 51/9/1.1/38 over 400 hands and I thought he was agressive enough to push 88 and AK (AdKd) like this potentially. Krishan Krishan |

Folding the river would be absurd.
Edit: Cap the flop. |

I think I'd cap the flop. If he bets the turn then I'll call down, if he checks the turn I'll bet/call check raise and river if necessary.
On the flop you've got TPTK and a backdoor nut flush draw, his preflop play and even flop play could just be him trying to take control of the hand with AK or a big Ax diamonds. Or maybe he has a big pocket pair. I don't know, maybe this is a case of allowing your opponent to bluff and losing less when you're behind that I always seem to blow by continuing to apply pressure. cjx |

I don't want to force someone I have reverse dominated off their hand by applying pressure once I have the 3rd player out. A flop cap let's unpaired hands release on the turn and overpair hands checkriase the turn.
Once the 3rd player is out, I like the calldown. Krishan |

This player doesn't look like he will release A-high even afte r you cap. If he will, then calling down is better.
