Default 9-max tables on Party? What\'s the point?

Party has 9-max tables at the 1-2 and 10-20 limits.
What's that all about??

more action for those that are afraid or intimidated by the 6-max tables.

this is a good way to graduate to 6-max because of the inevitable one or 2 sit-outs.

the advantage for the house i don't think i need to answer.

this sucks, now there's like 2 10/20 full games, 9 max is ridiculous

1/2 full on Party, according to some, is a 'strangely' tight game. IE tighter than .50/1, and also tighter than 2/4.

moving to 9 max may loosen it up.

however, I don't know if these were the reasons behind the move.

Looks like it might be for rake and hands per hour for Party.

I think the 2/4 games are looser than the 1/2 full.

It looks freaking weird. Absolute has 9max tables as standard and I never think about it.
Hopefully this will mean that you can play 9max just like you would play full tables, but with more loose cannons playing it like 6max.

Yeah, the few cardrooms I play in here in the Far East Bay in California are all 9-max.
