Question About Favorable Flops

Im trying to figure out hands that I feel have at least a 50 percent chance of seeing a favorable flop. A favorable flop for me generally includes flopping
1. Royal Flush
2. Straight Flush
3. Full House using both cards in my hand in order to actually create the full house
4. Flush
5. Straight without having three cards to a flush on board
6. Set without having three cards to a flush on board
7. Trips
8. Two Pair using both cards in my hand to actually make the two pair and without having three cards to a flush on board
9. Overpair without the board being paired and without having three cards to a flush on board
10. Top Pair while holding either the first or second nut kicker without the board being paired and without there being three to a flush on board
11. Holding suited cards and flopping a flush draw
12. Flopping three to a suit where I hold only the ace to that suit in my hand
13. Flopping an open ended straight draw or double belly buster straight draw where im not drawing to dummy end of a straight

What hands would actually create favorable situations like this. Also it would be nice if someone could post the math involved in finding out these situations.

this isnt really worth looking into and probvably is just an attempt for you to justify ur losses from bad luck or bad play. The varation of flops would make an estimate unrealiable because of the number of possible for each of these situations and btw not all of thowse are favorable and most of them are situational.

Flopping a straight flush = -EV

What are you talking about. Its a very justifiable question. When playing in a game where its hard to make people fold I only want to raise preflop with hands that are going to give me favorable flops at least 50 percent of the time. Also flopping a straight flush is not -EV.

Unless I am confused you will only get a favorable flop 50% of the time with kk and aa. By your standards that is. Most hands you should be rasing with won't flop you anything like that. Unless I am really confused, which I may be.

Talk to probability, but they're just going to explain combinations for you, you'll have to do the calculations yourself.

don't sweat the negative responses from that other poster.

this question is soo complicated that most of the responses you'll get are probably going to be less usefull than you hoped. For each starting hand, you'll have over a dozen scenarios (good flop hands as you described) and many many branches on those combinatorial trees.

all that being said... if you played so tight that you only played hands that did have a 50% of flopping such hands, i'd guess you won't play most hands!
