Movin\' on up! errr maybe not yet?
I just started Eurobet .5/1 a few thousand hands ago. I have played on UB .5/1 as well and I have been winning pretty consistently so far. I want to set a goal for moving up to 1/2 on Eurobet. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I should do this? I was thinking about something like as long as I have over 25,000 hands and over X dollars or something. Any ex micro turned small stakes players have some tips for me? Thanks.

300BB for the limit your moving to.
10k hands played. That's pretty standard. I started with a severely short roll (and 300BB doesn't seem like enough to me), so I did 20k and 500BB. |

Well I thought I was ready to move up to 1/2 at around 20k hands, but I just lost 100bb and im sitting at a positive .50/100.

I have heard of the 300 goal, but how do you know when to drop back down if you are losing? When you go back to 300 BB of the lower limit?

If you're finding a lot of situations that are tough, perhaps some hardcore aggression or the like, maybe go back and learn a bit more. If you feel like you're just taking bad beats, continue and ride them out. |
