Fold preflop.

Once you've gotten to the river, a very stong case can be made for bet/folding.

Any reads?

Leading the river with a 4 straight on the board is pretty questionable, I'd say check call here is probably a better line. I might go for a c/r on the flop HU like this too, but betting out seems fine too.

Sorry meant to say the following....

1) Preflop was a misclick
2)opponent is a laggy aggressive.... 44.5/20.2

I should have folded on the river, I just couldn't figure out what he played this way that would beat me...

Holy crap does that change everything!

Then I like it. I think you need to pay off that raise.

I also like the bet, because he might take a free showdown with a lot of his 1 pair / A-high type holdings. (Unless, he is a super maniac)

I think the bet is good if you can fold to a raise, but I have a hard time seeing this raise as anything other than a made straight...but hey party is a crazy place.

Just saw this, LAGs do tend to pull stunts like this, so I probably call. But they also dont check rivers through, still dont care for the river bet.
