Default AQo hand

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+2 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+2 bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB

Anyone do anything differently? I have UTG+2 at (18/13/3) over 61 hands.

Default Re: AQo hand

I'd 3 bet preflop, your opponent could be overplaying AJ and in many cases, villain would cap with AKs, QQ-AA in which case you are behind.

The 3 bet from villain on the flop would probably also cause me to check/call the rest of the way.

Of course you could get frisky and try representing a spiked set by calling the flop and check raising the turn.
