Fold. Are you hoping he has KQ or 99?

Re: TT, capped prf, your line?
I think this is a fold. He called pre-flop then came out betting. You beat almost nothing.

i don't see any hand that you can possibly be ahead of.
unless you feel like spending a couple bets to see if you can get him off KK, QQ or JJ i'd just dump it and move on. |

Re: TT, capped prf, your line?
Am I the only one that thinks a raise is viable here? He only has to fold 20% of the time to make it profitable. I'm guessing he doesn't have an Ace, a set or two pair often enough to make a raise close.
I see folks playing low pocket pairs this way. If he has, say, 22-66, this is a reasonable flop bet for him. He's hoping that A is the scare card yall are all saying it is. Plus if he has a weak Ace, he may check the turn to you, so it's likely you'd get a free card to hit your 2 outter twice instead of once, if he does have the Ace. (I realize that aint much, but it's something.) If he has AK, he probably calls your raise on the flop, gives you a free card on the turn to check-raise you... which makes your implied odds on that 2 outter better than they look (because the possible free card gives you two chances at the 2 outter). Meaning he may only have to fold about 15% of the time to your flop raise to make it profitable. This all assumes that you fold if played back at. |
