Default Doyle and the small buy-in

I have just finished reading SSII and have put what i grasp into practice with varying results. plus overall but with some bigger swings then i am used to.

My question is how does one effectively play aggressively when the the buy ins range from 100-300 and most pots will eventually make you pot committed?

thanks

Just thought of this.

the stealing of blinds as well as limpers pots doesn't gain much money when blinds are 1-2 or 3-5.(much more in the second situation but not much greater in comparisons to the buy-ins)
