Just 16 in a row OTM, phew.

I would have just called the original raise. Now that you're getting almost 3 to 1 (390 to win 1115, i think) I would call. If you fold you still have about 500 chips, but I think the price you are getting here is too good to pass up. Who's giving you flack? The other players? Why do you care? Glad to hear you broke that streak. I just broke a 18 game streak myself.

Getting your stack in with AQ early is why SnG's are so profitable

for the rest of us.

What hands would you expect MP2 to be holding that you beat? I guess in a Party $10 there could be some hands, but I'm not putting in 1/3 of my stack to find out.

You're getting a lot of flack for this hand because your play stinks.

Then again, take heart, even if you do stink, 16 OTM is a long stretch. Congrats on it being over.

Good luck at the tables,

I agree.

But shouldn't he call after MP2 goes all in?

The problem is that he himself has created a situation where he might have potodds to call an all-in. You can do that with any hand.

There is a pretty big chance he is dominated here. Even if he gets 2-1 for a call I'm not sure it would be a good call. Against a solid player I would fold this one. Against a loose player who might make this move with AJ/AT apart from big pairs I would start thinking about calling.

just a bad, bad, bad play...

You call the raise and hope you hit an ace or Q. I never want to play big pots with AQ unless you pick up top pair with straight or flush draws on the flop.

surely someone had q's or k's and you hit or 3 outer ace...
