Re: TT, flop: AK2
Yeah I play it the same. If it weren't for the two flush I might just checkfold the turn.
The question is do we call a river bet, and I think the answer is yes. But I'm not sure. |

Re: TT, flop: AK2
looks standard to me. you could bet the river and fold to a raise. were you planing on calling a river bet?

Re: TT, flop: AK2
Yes, I call a river bet. I think that he'll bluff at the K often enough to call, but if I get raised I lose. This was my question, is this the way to go?

Re: TT, flop: AK2
I'm thinking you beat something like 77 here.
But I don't mind the river check if you've got a read and you'll know whether to call or fold if he bets. If you want to avoid this decision, bet and fold to a raise. |

Re: TT, flop: AK
This looks fine to me. I think you have to bet that turn, as you could make a King fold and could be against a draw. I check/fold the river too.

Re: TT, flop: AK2
I play it the same, but not with much enthusiasm. Against 2 players I think it is more likely than not you are beat when 2 overcards like AK get flopped and you get called on your flop bet after raising pre flop. The good news is that your flop bet didn't get raised. However that could just mean the other player has a weak A and doesn't want to raise a pre-flop raiser with AK on the board because he thinks he might be outkicked.
The river is the key. I would also check, but if he bet back at me I would take a tylenol because I don't think there's a good answer unless you have a really good read. |
