Default Party Poker: from .50/$1 to $1/$2

Are there any adjustments I need to make before moving up, or are these games basically the same?

Search the forums. This same thread is created once a week or so.

There are no significant differences. The games are tighter, but there's no "handbook" that one can offer to magically adjust to the differences. If you aren't able to adjust to different textures in games you're in trouble anyway.

I think you can't win so much money at 1/2 as at ,50/1 in the long run. Better is to move up to 3/6 or 2/4.

i like 1/2 personally, but watch out during reload bonus time (i.e. right now) b/c a lot of bonus clearing will be going on. The game is tighter but more big, multiway pots than 2/4, IMO

People really need to search heh.. I posted this a couple weeks ago, some people offered some advice, then someone pointed me to an even older thread with alot of good advice. Ive also seen this one, the one that was earlier this week, and one more since I posted without searching my self.. and every post that goes by about this gets less and less informative.. I would send you a link but im not home.

I've read similar things several times. How is it that Party 2/4 is an easier game than 1/2? That is counterintuitive.

That depends on what you've played before and for how long. If you are moving up to 1/2 for the first time, you will probably notice it is a lot more aggressive - at least that was my impression. But I don't know that you can make any adjustments - it's a matter of adjusting to how the other people at your table(s) are playing.

This is very very wrong, on several levels.

I tried searching under $1/$2 and $1-$2, but didn't get anything useful. Can anyone recommend good search terms?
