I think I play it the same. If you shut down a baby flush, or scared off a set, so be it.

I like this play, except for your smooth call preflop. Before the flop you have enormous pot equity, and you need to punish CO for his probable steal play. All other streets are fine, IMO.
You could argue that trapping your opponent has more immediate expectation, though. I have noticed that alot of players like to attack that first blind no matter what they hold. A reraise (with any strong hand) is good for your image, as well as your bankroll. There is a good piece in HEPFAP on this, on page 189. The chapter is on shorthanded games, but I think the concept applies here as well. |

I’d raise PF. But then again, I’m not the type to get tricky with PP’ers.
If you’re lucky he’ll put you on a resteal and give you some good action. |
