Poker Tracker - help please

Ive been playing for a few years and realized I should be tracking my play online. I downloaded the free version of PT and have no idea where to start. I feel like im looking at Excel for the 1st time lol.
Anyways in a dumbed down response can someone explain how PT works, how to setup games and what iam looking for in the results?
I play on pokerstars if that is relevant.
