My big Pairs are killing me... any suggestions???
I'm playing 5/10 on multiple sites and am doing well, but would be doing much better if it wasn't for QQ-AA. These hands are costing me tons... i don't know what to do. I'll feel retarded folding them preflop, but i would have about 35% more $$ if i had. I'm about 20% win rate with these hands... i'm raising and pushing, but these morons are catching their j4o two pair on me like they know whats coming. I know it's just the fact that i'm having to play these hands again 3-5 players and between them all, odds are one will hit. I just don't know what angle to take here. Be aggressive preflop and slow down post?? not sure.. any advise on this will be greatly appreciated.

reraise
...takes time for the #s to tell the truth sometimes. I've just started 5/10 as well and KK or QQ have not won once yet...I take that back. Once I had QQ in the BB and it was folded around in a loose game... |

Re: My big Pairs are killing me... any suggestions???
we should start a club...I hit a huge dry spell once...it sucked but it passed...yours will too...
I'm kinda torn on what my next club should be... I'm torn between: Why the hell don't my flush draws ever hit? and They hit another runner runner flush? Is this worthy of a poll? |

Its nearly impossible to lose long term with these hands.
Assuming you are not slowplaying them preflop, I would assume that your problem might be: 1) You are running bad. (almost certainly the problem) and possibly one of these: 2) You dont call down enough (making the big laydowns) 3) You call down too much (even when obviously beaten) |
