Situation: B&M NL HE tournament. 120 bought in and started with t1500 each. Down to about 75 people, blinds at 150-300, I have t2700. At this point, a PF raise is taking the pot uncontested on almost every hand.
I am in MP and pick up KJo. Folds to to me, so I raise to 900, hoping to just pick up the blinds (I have a very tight table image). Folds around to CO (LA), who raises all-in to 1600. Button (LP) goes all-in for 1300. Folds back around to me. At this point, I know I'm probably pretty far behind. What do I do? It's 700 more to me, leaving me with only 1100, but there's 4250 in the pot. I'm probably dominated, but there's a chance they both have underpairs or that both my cards are live. |

I think you have to call, you're 20% or 4-1 to win if you're up against an under pair and AK according, to cardplayer.

If you don't call, you'll only have 1800. With the blinds at 150/300, 1800 isn't that much better than 1100. I hope it didn't take you more than 5 seconds to call this.

I hope it didn't take you more than 5 seconds to call this. [/ QUOTE ] Why? Even if it's the correct decision, it is a good habit to take your time to analize situations. |

Only 700 more for a 4250 pot? Obviously not an ideal situation, and you are almost certainly behind, but I think you have to call this. You're far away from the money, and you've gotten yourself involved with the large preflop raise. Hope they both have medium pair and that you pull a K.
