Default Scared Set

Button is a tight aggressive thinking player who is a 10/20 regular. UTG and CO are both enormous vpip 70+ loose passive donks.

Hero checks, planning to call, because he does not feel comfortable betting and folding to a raise...

He didnt cap turn, what hands other than AJ are you afraid of? If he is giving you A LOT of respect then maybe I dont bet river, otherwise, I bet and call a raise? I think AJo is unlikely as hed raise flop, and TAG would raise any big A normally.

You don't think a hand like AK or AQ will take this line?

Bet the river.

What are you putting me on if you are Button? Why are you raising the turn? Why are you calling the 3-bet?

You are joking here right? I mean there can't be any possible way you are serious with that comment.

No, I'm not joking. Why should I be? I repeat: if you are Button (and you are a strong player) what are you putting me on? Why are you raising the turn? Why are you calling my 3-bet?

Dude, I can tell you that it is utterly wrong checking the river with the intent of calling regardless how much you analyze every player or bet in that game.

For the record I think the other guy had JJ, A6 or KQd.

A strong player can have none of those hands. Thanks for your contribution.

Edit: Villain knows I'm a strong thinking player as well, if that wasn't clear in the OP.

Clearly you can't comprehend the basic advice I just gave you. And seeing how you played this hand that does not come as a surprise.

Thank you for playing poker.
