Default Dual Monitor

I've found a dual monitor at tigerdirect for a pretty good price.Linky
Can anybody tell me if this monitor would be good for multi tabling?

It's 2048x768 as opposed to the standard 1600x1200.
Can anybody give me an idea of how many tables i could fit on there with no (or very minimal) overlap? Also, is the fact that they are only 15" a serious problem? (My eyes have never given me problems before, but then again i have a 19" LCD right now).

BTW, keep in mind that price is in CDN dollars. (~550 US).
The 2001FP is 899 up here.

ATI dual monitor vid card -- $100 Super Warehouse ATI video card

2 17" LCD monitors -- $400

2 19" LCD monitore -- $600 CompUSA's Envision 19" LCD

If you REALLY want to get spendy, an Appian Phoenix is only $600 and supports 4 monitors.

Don't ask why I know this.

I wouldn't buy that dual monitor. The screen resolution are not good enough (each monitor just have a maximum resolution of (2048/2)*768 = 1024 *768 ).

Read the specs. "All" the ATI cards support 2 monitors. That happens to be the cheapest ATI.

If you wanted really cheap, Asus has a 128mb card for under $60 and 64mb card for under $40.

If you cannot afford a good set of lcd's, perhaps you should go with two CRT's?

Forget those monitors. Yesterday a Samsung SyncMaster 213T went for $559 on Ebay. This might be one of the best monitors out there.

If you're going to spend any serious money at all go with the flat screen. They can't be beat. Here's a link:
