Default Chumash

Any one here a regular at the Chumash casino? How is the nl game there? I went there once and only played limit and i wanted to know how the nl game was.
Also i know they have some tourney during the week and on weekends, how are those? Is it pretty easy or tough locals? It kinda seems like it would be just a tough local poker room cause its out in the middle of no where. Any info would be great, thanks.

Default Re: Chumash

I'm a regular at the chumash. I don't play nl and I don't play the tournaments. The $2-$4 have 5-6 people to the flop and people chasing any draw and any pair. The rake is terrible but I think I'm beating it a little like maybe $5-$10 dollars an hour. Sometimes the $3-$6 plays like $2-$4. Sometimes the $3-$6 has three people to a flop max and it's like $100-$200.

It's a professionally run card room. There really isn't a bad dealer. You don't have the losers that hang out in Los Angeles "Sideways" notwithstanding. Hey, they were tourists. It's a very enjoyable experience but don't expect to make a lot of money.
