Going overboard with PV.
I think I display way too many stats on my screen for each player. With the addition of hole cards I have had to make room. I've thought to put this poll up to see what people use most often with playerview.

Re: Going overboard with PV.
I use:
VPIP, PFR, Agg each street, hole cards, last board, check-raise, W$SD, WtSD, Net won $, table VPIP, table PFR, table avg pot in BB, PV alert area. I've got each stat color-coded. Light blue is for too tight or too passive stats, green is for stats in the OK range, and red is for too loose or too aggressive. Too much?? |

Re: Going overboard with PV.
Personally I keep PFR, VPIP and Avg Agg on the table and the rest in hotspots.

Re: Going overboard with PV.
Player name and total hands (to catch player changes and know how 'reliable' the numbers are likely to be)
VPIP, PFR and average aggression (the fundamentals) Auto-rated player icon. These are the ones I found I was using all the time. After experimenting with all sorts of set-ups I settled on the above and use the hot-spots for the rest. Sheriff |

Player name and total hands (to catch player changes ) [/ QUOTE ] wow, never thought of doing that -- one of those ideas that's so elegantly obvious, it never even dawned on me. thanks! |

Re: Going overboard with PV.
I dont want too much information... I like to simplify things...For individual player stats I use the following in this order:VPIP,PFR,Total Hands,Avg.Agg,Att.to steal blinds,Folded BB to steal and Showdown Holecards.
If I were to add anything to the individual stats it would be Aggression levels on Flop,Turn and River and possibly Went to Showdown. For the Tables Stats I use Table VPIP,Table PFR and Table avg.pot in BB. |

Re: Going overboard with PV.
I'm nuts, but I've got reasons for my decisions. Here's what I do:
Table VPIP for a quick overview: loose or tight? Table PFR to see if this is an aggressive or tight table. Table BB/100: when I first got PP, I thought this would be a good judge of the table's "skill level," but I've been very disappointed in BB/100 as an indicator of skill. I may be dropping this from my list. Table WSD to see if I can get away with bluffing or if I'll be playing hit-to-win. Player icon for a quick read. Player's total hands immediately beneath the icon to see how accurate my reads on that player are. Player VPIP for looseness/tightness reads. Player PFR for early aggression read. Player Avg. Agg. for late aggression read. Player WSD to see if this is a player who will let a loser go. Player BB/100 -- again, this was meant to be for skill level, but it seems less important these days. Player %Blind steal: if someone raises from late position when I'm in a blind, I want to know why. In review, I may be changing things around a bit, mostly to eliminate BB/100. I get the most use out of VPIP, with PFR and AvgAgg tied for next most useful. |

Re: Going overboard with PV.
Above Name Window:VP$IP - PFR - TOTHANDS
Below Name Window: AFAF - WtSD% - W$aSD% Left edge for right half of table and right edge for left half of table goes the icon. User name in upper left hand corner of box, partially obscures with long names, but enough remains to insure match with player currently seated. Table VP$IP, PFR and Pot in BB. |
