Communism is now known by the politically correct names "Socialism", "New World Order", "Globalism", and "Multinational".

The above names are just Communism in a hurry. BTW, the implicit goal of Communism/Socialism is not to spread the wealth to the workers on the plantation (e.g. 97% of the world) but to feather the nest of the greedy 3% for whom there is never enough money or power.

Obviously Reagan. JPII was a decent activist and tool of American policy. I don't think the Church is any real friend of the free market really. Anyway, wasn't it Stalin who correctly pointed out that the Pope didn't have many divisions? Well, he didn't.

I think John Paul funneled money from the CIA into Solidarity, and also encouraged Polish resistance to the communists. That said, Regean's opposition to Communism was everywhere, not just Poland and it was American intimidation that unltimately forced the Soviet's hand.

It has never been confirmed that Stalin actually said that phrase. But if he did, he was completely wrong! And so are you!

The head of the Catholic Church wields an enormous amount of influence all over the globe. There is no need for military strength for the Pope to project power. This was not obvious to the Georgian and I see it's not obvious to the Desert Man.

As Cyrus says it may be apocryphal, but anyway: he didn;t say the Pope had no divisions, he asked how many divisions the Pope had.
