2 hands for review
These were both $50 SNGs. On the first hand, I think that I made the right laydown because the villian lead out which made me to believe that he had a K, but was it the right play to fold.
Hand #2. I am completely lost on this one. The flop was not that good for AK, but how do you think that I played it. The SB was very LAG too. Re: 2 hands for review
I can only comment on $22 and below so take it FWIW but the second hand is an insta call, I am shocked how many times I am whowed a hand like jq, some garbage king or aj. The first hand I probably fold, but I think you are ahead a decent % here.

Re: 2 hands for review
they look about right to me. Second hand, although obviously you're rasing on the flop, dont know if you have to bring it up so high there...looks like you got slide meter happy...
first hand is tough, but not worth it to find out...he bet a little more than someone who was just trying to push you off...he wants it that bad, let him have it. good fold. |

Re: 2 hands for review
First hand is a good laydown too easy you are beat there and you don't have a lot of chips to throw around.
Second hand is just bad luck. I think that even if you bet 1/2 pot he goes all in, so I think your bet was okay on the flop. I think your calling was okay as well. You are in a good situation here TPTK, gutshot and backdoor flush draw and more than likely the best hand at that point. Unfortunate river card, but you want people like him playing just like that in this situation, more often than not you walk away with their chips. |
