report on stu ungar

I am doing a powerpoint presentation semi-based on stu ungar for a psychology course. we have to examine a collection of drugs that have an underlying theme. the theme can be extremely broad like 'drugs commonly used by teenagers', 'drugs that make people see pink elephants', whatever, as long is there is something that sort of ties them together.

i chose to do mine on the drugs found in stu ungar at his death (cocaine, methadone, and percodan) my prof said this is fine and she thinks it could make for an interesting report but she also wants me to include a few other drugs because she wanted 5. i'm now going to include alcohol because i've read he was an alcoholic as well. i asked if i could include gambling as a drug but she said that wouldn't count. does anyone know if stuey smoked cigarettes or have any other information on any of his drug use?

it would be very helpful. if anyone is interested i will put up my powerpoint presentation when it's done.

Check the autopsy report for any other drugs in his system. I'm not sure if he had a drinking problem though. Good luck with your presentation.

i thought he had heroin issues, but i'm probably really wrong...

well methadone is the substance used to treat heroin. so he probably did have heroin problems and sought help and was now on methadone.

Heroin addicts don't OD on methadone. I doubt Stu used methadone. I thought he died of a heart problem that was the result of his drug use. But they ofetn say this when people OD!

yes, his drug use triggered a heart condition which killed him. so although the drugs didn't directly kill him, they essentially did.
