There is a free casino cruise that has poker. The ship sails from Daytona daily.

The Daytona Greyhound Track is right next to the Daytona 500 Nascar Track. They have low limit hold em' stud and Omaha8

Daytona and Orlando are about 50 miles apart.

There's a dogtrack in Sanford (almost part of orlando) but I don't know if they have a cardroom. Sanford kennel club, google up their web page and call them.

And just so you know, if you're not willing to drive to the coast and go on a boat, all cash games will be $2 limit. Port Canaveral also has a cruise, it's about 45 minutes from the airport area.

Also, it's bad form to ask the same question twice, within 2 hours of each other, when the old thread wasn't even buried yet.

The Poker Rooms in FLorida have $1/$2 or $2/$2 tables. They are fun if you are boared. We have a little slang term here in FLorida when someone sucks out on you on the river. We called in "getting dogtracked" since everyone stays in with trash hands on every hand. You could also drive to the cape and go out on one of the casino boats.

Yes. Many Florida dog tracks have poker. The Samford Greyhound Track is very close to Orlando but there is no poker there.

It would be hard to find players that play worse than the Florida poker players.

Situations frequently arise where you can cap it with 6+ people in the pot in hold em' and Florida players will generally call a cap with dubious holdings like 10 2 suited, K5 offsuit and garbage like that.

I played at the Hard Rock in Tampa a few weeks ago. It is basically 5 card bingo. People rarely fold and will play anything. I watched AA, AK, KK & QQ get cracked by 5-8, 3-6, 3-7, 10-2. This was just in about 45 minutes. I wathced people cold-call 3 bets on the river in a smallish pot with an AA99K board without having and A or 9. Don't take it too seriously and you won't get too pissed when someone cracks your big hand.

Good Luck!
