Yeah, you have to have money in the account to fund the free bets...they offered a few during football season. This MLB one is new for them--since you can bet on any team and potentially make a lot of money if an underdog wins.

Hi, Playersonly sportsbook also has a free $10 World Series bet. Are they skins of each other? Sorry for my ignorance; I'm just getting into sportsbetting.

I noticed that the World Series lines are different at different sportsbooks (Pinnacle, Bodog, CRIS, WSEX). Would it be a valid strategy to calculate the average odds for each team, and then bet whichever team has the greatest discrepancy between the "average" line and the odds you are getting at the sportsbook? Not sure if this strategy will fail due to great public sentiment for certain teams (New York, Boston, etc).
