Tired as hell, haven't posted a hand in awhile so I thought I'd post a quick question about this. Disregard the EP post, misclick.
PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (8 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $0.05. Hero posts a blind of $0.05. UTG calls, Hero (poster) raises, 2 folds, CO (poster) calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop: (12 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players) SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds, UTG calls. Anything wrong with the flop bet? Quite a few people in but checks so far, I figure a paired board is good for me. Turn: (7.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets I was going to be content with taking a free card after my flop bet, but I did not like the prospect of dishing out a free pair to someone with 54s or something. Any problems with betting here? Do you bet here if CO/button call behind you on the flop? |

PF and flop look good, the flop bet is good to see how others react to it.
I don't really like the turn bet. The only thing I can see someone calling with that you're ahead of is diamonds. If the pot were bigger, then I'd think of betting, as you could get a hand with 6 outs (like unpaired cards higher than 3) to incorrectly fold. Also, if you get checkraised here it's a sticky situation. I'd check turn, and check or call 1 on the river. |

I don't know if anybody with 54s will still be in this hand after calling 2 cold from you PF, and after your flop bet, even the loosest of fish would fold

I usually won't bet the flop with missed overs into 5 people, but for a board w/o an ace or a queen, this one is pretty good for your hand.
The turn bet is player dependant. If one of these guys is very likely to take a shot on the river after you check the turn, then I likely would. If they're the type to very often fold hands that ahve 6 outs against you then I like a turn bet. If the button/CO called the flop bet I would not bet the turn. |
