Default Wow, this was bad!

Have you ever gone back through PT to do some analysis, and found a hand that you just can't believe you played the way you did. I have no idea why I took this line, but it sure looks bad. I just wanted to post this to see if my hindsight is in fact 20/20. How do you play it, if at all?

At 6 max, I often play Axs. Is it a bad idea to play these shorthanded?

In retrospect, I'm thinking raise the flop, call the turn.

I've done this and I've been on the other side of this. Since he's overbetting the pot, I think you should hit him with a reraise on the flop. Worst case scenario is you take $11 which isn't bad. The problem is by slowplaying it you're letting his set stick around with the possibility of hitting his 9 outs. If he has Kxs, then he'll likely pay you off anyway.

I've found that my biggest mistakes are made by slowplaying too often and letting someone suckout. The one time I was on the boat side of this hand, the guy I sucked out on went through the roof. Someone forgot to tell him that just betting into me wasn't enough, he's got to make the odds wrong for me to call him, then I'll fold.
