I made Party Top 150... and lost more trying! :(

How many raked hands did you have to play? How much did you win by getting in the top 150?

hehe, i barely profited after getting the top 50 bonus. i have never played 6 max in my life, and my usual game is limit. for some reason, i figured playing 4 tables of 6-max nl50 was a good idea. i was down $200 after an hour, so i am almost happy with my small win. i definitely suck balls at 6max nl, however, i could see it being very proftable after a few days experience. the way i see it, party allowed me to learn a new game with less risk. thanks party.

I'm not sure how many raked hands exactly, but I can tell it was significantly over 1000. The last it told me before the end I was in 142nd place, so nowhere near 50th, and I made $50. I did this in only 6.5 hours at mostly full $1/$2 and some $1/$2 6-max near the end. It wasn't too bad really, and I got an idea of what it would be like to play "full-time" so I'm not complaining.

Really? Only a bit over 1,000 raked hands? I figured that the competition would be a lot tougher so I didn't bother taking a shot at it.
