Need help with WLAN NIC
I'm getting an extra pcmcia wlan nic for my Dell 8600 laptop from UK. Considering the dual mmcx cards such as Senao Engenius, Cisco 350, and Demarc.
100mwatt is usually max power in UK, 200mwatt is usual max for US/Canada, if I get the Demarc 300mwatt what's the risk of shortening the life of my laptop? Would you recommend this? http://www.demarctech.com/products/r...mcia-card.html If you have the Senao 2511 200mwatt, what is the max power you can set it? Is 250mwatt safer? The Senao is cheaper than the Demarc, so maybe I can get the Senao 200mwatt and set it to 300mwatt? Does Senao card really have better RX than the Cisco 350? I heard mixed opinions. Do you have other reccommendations other than the above 3 in pcmicia dual mmcx format? Thanks for any help, Fishy |
