UTG calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, UTG folds, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises</font>, SB folds, Hero calls.

Hero checks, MP1 checks.

I think that's what I should've done if I commit myself to a turn.

Anyone fold the flop, or is that just weak as hell?

Yeah, that or 3-betting the flop. OOP you have to take control of hands or else you fall victim to these free card plays.

Basics, eh? You have top pair heads up, so you should bet the turn. Basic play is not passive play.

i bet turn, call down if raised, if just called i bet river as well.

having the turn check through like you did, you really needed to bet that river i'm thinking.

I'd fold if I were raised on the turn. Few and far players between at this game who are raising a worse hand here.
