SB is a TAG who just sat down, has only played one orbit and I have no specific reads. His stats are 27/11/2 after 200 hands.

I'm basically questioning all streets.

I don't like the flop raise - about the only thing that's going to fold is AK or TT (no diamonds) which you would rather have continue betting b/c they are so far behind.

He will not fold an overpair(or AQ), and you don't have a diamond to fall back on.

Given your line, I fold the turn when he bets into me again...it appears he may have been smoothcalling to c/r the turn and was worried it would check thru b/c of the 4th diamond.

Given that it made it past the turn, call the river.

Muck on the flop. You are just throwing $ away here by raising -- you dont have much of anything, in light of the preflop strength shown by the sb, with a hand that has little chance to improve.

Call the flop, fold the turn.

I raised to charge him if he had a diamond. Is this backward thinking?

I agree I should fold this turn, he has shown too much strength by now.
