Default 2/4 AK flop decision

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) converter

BB ($228)
UTG ($824.35)
Hero ($672)
Button ($293.2)
SB ($128)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
1 fold, Hero raises to $14, 2 folds, BB calls $10.

Flop: ($30) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $15, Hero raises to $45, BB raises to $110

Hero ...

BB is completely unknown at this point. Just sat down. Notice that after the raise to $110 he has like $85 left or so. I'm most interested as to whether or not people flat-call that flop or not.

He flopped a set( maybe 2 pair) and has obviously read Zaxx' guide to busting AK donkeys.....

I see your Kung Fu is strong though and you will not give him your stack as there is not huge draw he could be semi bluffing on.

I like the raise bc you raised so strongly preflop....
Pot is large enought to take down here with no problems...
But its also small enough so that you can escape Villains huge hand.

Good Job.

pretty easy fold at 2-4.. i think you got AJ'ed or are up against a set as well. I like his lead, standard SS. i like your raise and i like his reraise, and even better is your fold.

As long as you folded, I'm playing it exactly the same.

Against an unknown, folding here is best. You're up against JJ, 22, or AK. Just try to call down once in a while against tricky players so you don't get run over.
