Is this an easy fold? I have lost 140+ only tonight on hands like this. I am so frustrated I want to stop playing forever! I had been winning for 6 weeks in a row (not much but took my bankroll from a 100 to 450+) . I know that my biggest flaw is that I am calling when I should fold (losing big hands) and That is why I am only at 0.04BB/10. Comments about how can I track if I am calling too much... Oh, PT rated me as TAA, or the Stone Killer... yeah right....

Lets begin,,at the beginning.

Why would you want to call preflop with Q10o?

I actually think a healthy raise is better than a call here...but not as good as a muck.

i agree with him just another one of the party poker low limit plays u cant just limp in early with to face cards because there face cards tighten up you play and start beating these players and not being one...

Very easy fold preflop. Pictures don't win pots. Made hands does.

Given that you called preflop: Raise or fold the flop

Given that you flat called the flop: Raise or fold the turn.

Given that you flat called the turn: Well, now you got yourself so deep into this pot with a lousy hand, so who knows....

Play against calling stations, don't be one

hi.

I played that hand maybe because of the frustration I felt after losing many huge good hands. Besides, GT+ was saying that the table was extremely loose and full of fish. I usually play tight aggressive aggressive. Well in fact not usually, my rating changed a week ago. from TPA TAA. That is my rating after 3500+ hands. I think that makes me the biggest loser rated stone killer at the party network. I will post more hands to see if you can help before I go bankrupt.

Thanks a lot..

pre-flop is marginal. i guess i would limp there.

i would raise the flop. find out where you are now so you don't have to fold a winner or pay off big when villain bets the turn.

i would check behind on the turn. you can induce a bluff or a call of your thin value bet. also, if he has a big hand, you can avoid paying it off too well.

i would call the river. unhappily.

none of this makes sense.

you can't seriously advocate a fold on the flop.

hero is checked to on the turn.

if you're going to take a snooty tone, at least read the original post.

Well no, I guess I can't. What I meant to say was, that allthough Hero hit toppair, he could still be in trouble because he chose to play a bad hand

[ QUOTE ]
hero is checked to on the turn

[/ QUOTE ]

Oops. That obviously changes things. Given that I chose to play QTo bacause it's a great hand, then the turn bet is fine

I don't know what "snooty" is, but I guess it doesn't mean I'm your new hero? I do however know what "read the original post" mean, and that is a good advice. I'll try to do that more often.

Sorry to the OP. I didn't mean to be snooty (I think)

Fold preflop, raise the flop, raise more on the turn, fold the river unless you have a read on him that would tell you that he enjoys bluffing.

Fold preflop, QTo is very marginal and your position isn't the greatest. This hand is a perfect example of why you shouldn't play these types of hands. They will not make a strong enough hand often enough to feel comfortable playing them aggressively, which is key. An aggressive move at this pot would have probably taken it down on the flop, but making an aggressive move w/ TPWK is hard to do without a good read. That is why it is better not to get involved in the first place. JMO
