Uhhhhh, not even close. I would go so far as to say this was easily one of the worst WPT events ever. When they were heads up there wasn't even 30 big blinds on the table. What the hell, this is a 10k buy in event and they got 30 big blinds to play with.

There was about one interesting hand in the whole tournament that is worth watching again. The only thing that made it interesting was Tony G.

Best ever, so far? WPT championship, 2nd season. Martin deKnijff's performance was virtually flawless. Among the best individual poker performances ever on TV.

Agreed...I know they edited it, but I've never seen such a streach of flawless play. It seemed from the poker commentary on it that Martin really was playing at the top of his game.

Brilliant because it worked. Had Sumar had a stronger hand and called, we would all be here talking about how dumb Tony G's play was.

Concur. It was a perfect example of how to play with the large stack. No mistakes.
