Default Preflop debate

A friend and I had a little argument over whether or not to 3 bet this hand preflop or just cold call. We are looking for other people's thoughts/opinions on it. If you could just type what you think you'd do and why, we would appreciate it. Thanks.

As an edit im adding in that Villain is 12/5/2.5 after about 100 hands.

As an edit I'm changing my answer from "Is folding an option?" to "Fold."

That 5 makes this an easy, easy, easy fold PF, IMO.

You might be able to coldcall with ATs with a bunch of limpers in as well. But in this case this is a clear fold.

i think that the PFR for the villain would have to be greater than 15 or so for me to consider 3betting as i think cold calling here is awful...but this is a very easy fold...

I agree. I almost said 'Put a 1 in front of it' in my post.
