Default Comment on the Stars Double shoot outs

I find these games tougher than I had hoped.

Typically 3-5 tricky, aggressive players on the first table;
I can only imagine how tough the 'final' table would be.

I'm starting to think the multi's might be the best approach to qualifying for the WSOP.

Comments? Are there a lot of pros using this route?

If you havent done so already, try to get into the one at 7pm EST. That one usually has the highest concentration of $5+R qualifiers.

If you've got the bankroll, I'd think the double shootouts should be your best bet since it's really only like winning two sit n go's in a row which imho is easier than beating out 400+ people in a multi. But the multis have the advantage of paying cash for placing just short of winning the seat(s). I played two of the $33+R's and won $650 for each, and then just used that to pay entry into the double shootouts.

You face the same tough players in the multi's as you do in the shootouts. Your best chance is in the shootouts, and it's not even close.

Plus if you win the first table, you are basically freerollin anyway (except 9th place -$130 loss)

Unless you've played a shootout already. Then I look like an ass.

Its very close. I think your best rout is playing the sats for the sunday $615. Those sats are softer than anything ive seen. On top of that the $615 has the best structure you'll find on the net.

I disagree with this. Statistically, you have a better chance in the sunday tournament because the entry is 650. That by itself doesn't mean it is more +EV, but i would contend that it is more +EV for the skilled player because there are a ton of satellite players, the starting stacks are bigger, and the blinds are slower.
