Saturday afternoon in San Diego, cardroom + casino question
What would be the best casino (specifically Blackjack) and poker room (not a rock garden hopefully) to go to on a Saturday afternoon in the greater San Diego area. Baronas?

Well, IMHO, for all SD area Indian Casinos, I prefer Pechanga, but that is a little further north from San Diego. Sycuan is pretty good from what I have heard, havent played poker there. If you just want poker, Oceans 11 card room in Oceanside has the most tables, and best games in SD county.

We thought about Viejas (anyone know the rake there?) but when my friend saw the structure and vig for their SCPT tourney he thought the place sounded like a ripoff and put it towards the bottom of our list.

Re: Saturday afternoon in San Diego, cardroom + casino question
I think that the major indian casinos are all the same. Oceans 11 is 21+ so keep that in mind if you're underage. I think it's safe to say that Barona is the nicest casino. But as far as the games go, i'm pretty sure they'll all have the same rake which is pretty steep. $3/hand that goes to a flop at 3/6 pretty much kills any potential for long term profit. I have only played bigger than that a couple times (4/8 and 8/16 at viejas) but i dont remember what the rakes were. Also, keep in mind that there are card rooms all around, but i've never been. Anyway, Good luck!
