Default Private MTT site question

Is there any site that allows you to set up private MTT for either freerolls or play money? I have a group of friends that wants to play a tourney, but don't neccesarily want ot put money onto a site. Right now what they do is set up a room or two at pokerroom and then once a certain number are out, they set up a new room with higher blinds and so on. Really archaic, but it works for them, and what do you expect for free.

Anyway, I just signed up with Stars and am working to get to the point where I can set up private tournies, but I don't think they allow private play or freerolls? Does any site?

I believe Prima let you have a freeroll as long as the person setting it up pays a small fee.
I may be wrong on this, but I'm sure I've seen it somewhere.

if prima does not do it, you can always have them all open an account at stars or paradise. then request a $5 tourney (or whatever minimum is) and transfer all your friends the buy-in.

advantage of this is that the winners will actually have a blast playing some micro with their payoffs.

Yep, prima allow you to host private freerolls for a maximum of 200 players. The charge is $10 for upto 50 players, $15 for 100 or $20 for 200.

But you could just start a private small buyin tournament instead, such as $1 which would cost less (as long as there are no more than 10 players). There will be some money to play for then as well.

We do offer $1 buy-ins with a $0.01 fee, and you can do this for MTT's and SnG's. As one of the previous posters mentioned earlier, there is a charge for the freeroll setup, but there is a fair amount of choice available as far as game types go if you're looking to arrange a game with some friends.

If you put the money for the freeroll up Absolute will probably host it. My site's freeroll is hosted there and there are endless smaller private freerolls. They will add the names for you if it is private as I do not think they have password protected MTT's but I may be wrong.
