I agree, the new playerview-like features are pretty awsome. Finally we have betting actions on the table!

for those of us PT users who haven't seen what PO can do yet, want to describe just what's so cool about PO's new features?

The new stuff is probably catch-up to what all the other software does.... but it is a huge improvement.

Your 'outs' are listed in the bottom left corner and the odds associated with improving
The betting pattern for the hand is listed below the player name in real-time like: (for 5/10) R10 C5 C5
The pot odds are always displayed under the flop

Just simple stuff but a massive improvement
All the customized stats are above the player name

I agree.

This is far superior to GT+.

You get stats updated after each hand. Pot odds and odds for your outs live!!!… With GT+ you have to wait until the database has been updated (as far as I know) and there is no odds or betting actions.

I use to prefer PT for it’s, in my opinion still superior analysis capabilities. But now I think I will “need” both. PT for analysis and PO during play!

(I’m not sure but GT+ does not give live data, right?).

Beware when you update. Close everything up.
I downloaded for the upgrade and it crashed my computer.
I had to do a system restore to a couple of days ago.
Now it won't load PokerOffice at all. I emailed support tonight. I hope they get back to me tomorrow. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

Used it for 1 day now and already cant imagine
anymore how i was ever able to play without it.

*** UPDATE ***

Support emailed me back within 3 hrs last night and gave me the answer, which was to simply unistall, reinstall and re-enter the code keys.

my computer has gone on the fritz a few times now due to the new software. I might have too many other applications open though...

Just curious if other people occassionally get some weird screen interference once in a while...

Ok, so I downloaded PO 1.80 to see what all the fuss was about. Holy Smoke! This takes GT+ to a whole new level. I love how the updates of the statistics is "action sensitive" so that when a player leaves the table the stats automatically dissapears (very annoying when stats "stays" on leaving players in GT+) and I am already addicted to the betting actions on the table. Grrrr... now I must purchase PO as well and convert to using PO during play and PT for analysis.
