Default 1010 hand HU vs a tight player

Villain is a tight player, haven't seen much aggression from him, but I've only been at the table for around 10 minutes and I'm 4 tabling so other than that I know nothing else about him. What's my line on the river? check/fold or check/call? Can't see myself beating a whole lot here, and the pot isn't terribly big, is this an easy check/fold?

Chances are if you bet and he calls you're hosed, so I can't see a bet being correct. Also, if he was on a straight draw it got there.

Whether or not to call when he bets depends pretty much entirely on your read of him.

I would probably check and call, but I don't know if that's optimal.

I think betting is far better than check/call.

I bet this river and fold to a raise. Too often I'm getting called down here by an ace high, bottom pair, or underpair. That's one more big bet I collect from every hand listed above, and one bet I lose for every time he has KX or 67.

I think if the guy's as tight as I imagine, there's no way a bet is correct. If he calls he's either got a King, or he'll raise you with a straight.

I think the chances of him betting a worse hand are much greater than the chances of him calling with one.

If you're gonna call the river, you might as well bet.

If you bet you don't give him a chance to bluff.

I don't really see a straight here. I check/call myself and expect more often than not to be shown a K and an occasional bluff steal with a failed [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] draw and low pair.

Does betting this board have any value vs a tight opponent? (11/0/0 in PT)
