Default Just fold this

On this hand I put him on trip 6 and was ateending to draw to my kicker. Is this wrong should I just fold on his reraise

Yes fold to the reraise, especially on the turn. He's telling you he can beat your trip 6's.

Like the previous poster said, when he raises again on the turn you should be done with the hand against an unknown.

If you put him on trips, drawing to your kicker(especially when it's lower than all the boardcards) is an awful play.

I'm scratching my head over the villain's play...

If you are scratching @ the villains play ....well im gona bite my lip this once bc you have a good attitude. Villain played it quite well if he read hero as TAG.

I know what you are saying. I intially thought the same thing, he reads the pot bet lead on this board by a TAG out of the BB in an unreaised pot as trips so he knows he can build the pot on the flop since he knows our hero has a pretty good hand.

I then decided I was, for the umpteenth time, giving another SSNL opponent Wayyyy too much credit and backspaced it.

95% of the guys we play aren't thinking anywhere near this level. Check out the post I just made before this one, I just made this exact point in response to an excellent description of SSNL players.
