Default Me first pot of gold (long - questionable content)

Ok guys. I decided to take a stroll through the archives...during which time I've come to realize that there is just too much to read, learn, and assimilate - depending on the particular stage of your playing expertise and knowledge of the game. What originally started as an attempt to find - "a good thread on 99 preflop", or "missed overcards", or "<insert fairly common topic here>" quickly devolved into something else:

I've decided to use this thread to present links that made me think. Some made me think when I was learning the basics, some made me think along the way, and some continue to make me think. Some of them are classics, some are not. Some may be more relevant to you than others. Some you may have already seen, some not. Originally I wanted to annotate them more extensively, but I decided that people gain the most from things they themselves experience, not from me saying -- in this thread I learned why I should be betting/folding/raising against X opponents in Y position. And I need to get home, and my eyes hurt. And truthfully, I'd like to print some of these fockers out and read them carefully instead of superficially as I did over the past few hours.

This is clearly not a complete list of anything, but hopefully will give people an insight into just how much information is contained in older posts and why some of the regulars get testy when the same thigns keep coming up.

This list was complied in 2-3 hours of archive hunting (you may notice a theme) and is roughly divided into very gross categories - and the really good ones "transcend" categorization -- for example, the OP asks about a flop play, and the thread turns into a preflop discussion...

Anyway, enjoy - hopefully I'll come up with a more coherent scheme for future archive mining....and I hope these links all work.

Good job, duder. The archives are pretty awesome, arent they?

Here's another. Ed Miller talks about waiting for the turn to raise. (I posted this to SS some time ago)
