Golden Palace Bonus Comment
According to the GP stats, I've now played 286 hands, mostly at 1/2, with some 2/4 and .50/1 mixed in. Total bonus worked off so far: $4. So to get my $100 bonus I just need to play another 5500 hands or so. Gotta love it.
(Haven't really seen enough to comment on the play, except that like other smaller sites (imo) there is often a real extreme in abilities and experience, with a few superfish calling everything (first time playing?), a few hyperaggressive maniacs raising everything ("I'm from Scandanavia and I don't need a hand to raise" (please, no offense intended, just kidding)) and a few damn fine players; but substantially fewer rocks (fewer bonus whores?) and fewer "average" weak tighties. YM (and perception of the players) MV. |

Re: Golden Palace Bonus Comment
the GP bonus is essentially an 80% rakeback deal, and on top of that you must actually contribute money to the pot (or blinds) in order to be credited for a hand.
If you play tight at low limits it will take FOREVER to clear the $100. I wouldn't bother doing it unless you're getting something back from a swag affiliate like PSO on top of the bonus itself. oh, and expect to wait at least 1-2 weeks to get your first withdrawal back. |

Re: Golden Palace Bonus Comment
The best way to clear the bonus on GP if you're playing limit is to play shorthanded.
