Rag flop with 77

Table was pretty loose passive so I felt alright limping with 77 UTG. UTG+1 had been pretty tight up to this point so I didn't think he was raising light. With the rag flop I thought there was a chance I was ahead and debated between raising and folding, and decided to fold. With no read on the BB how would you play this?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Hero calls, UTG+1 raises, 1 fold, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, 3 folds, BB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB bets, Hero folds, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 folds.

Turn: (6.75 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 folds.

River: (8.75 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks.

Final Pot: 8.75 BB

I probably would have raised the flop & gone from there.

You still have a good chance of the best hand on the flop. A big pocket pair has you, but it's just as likely the BB and UTG+1 have suited overcards or just overcards. I wouldn't raise the flop, but I would the turn (make draws pay here).

with no read, easy flop raise, BB could be the type of person to bet while holding a 5. raising also gives you an idea of how much the remaining players like their hands.

Would you fold to a 3-bet? Would you lead out any non paint turn card and fold to a raise? Check/fold an A or K turn?

Folding to a flop 3-bet after you've raised is almost never right.

I would raise the flop and fold to a 3-bet. 95% of the time a 3-bet on this board means you are drawing to 2 outs.

If called on the flop raise, lead any turn card and fold to a raise. If called on the turn, consider check-folding the river depending on the opponent(s) and turn/river cards.

Raise the flop.. You want so many as posibal to fold. 2 bets can do this. Probably are you ahead. And if you are not then you have a backdoor stright and 2 outs to a set. If I got 3-bet then I would decide what to do deppending on who 3-bet...

Too many variables to say what I would have done on the turn. But I'm not folding on the flop to a 3-bet. The more coldcallers there are behind me, the more this is true.
