Default Live 7.50-15.00 hand. How badly did I botch this one?

Live 7.5-15 game in NYC. Villain is a 2+2er who can be tricky and plays much looser than I do. Other player is "okay/not totally clueless" type.
UTG limps, one MP limper and I complete in the SB with J10o.
BB checks.
Flop comes J3J, with a two-flush not of my suits.
I check, BB bets, UTG raises, MP limper folds, I re-raise and the BB folds.
Villain caps it.
Turn is a brick. I check, and villain checks behind me.
River is a 10. I bet, villain folds.
Feel free to burn me in effigy, but please explain your thoughts as you do so.

I'm a little confused.. In NYC do they let the BB go last? =)

I think your biggest mistake is the manner in which you posted this hand, since I have no idea what happened

It seems like the Button must have been involved in this hand, but there is no mention of him. Otherwise, you have figured out a way to check-raise the flop after checking in last position.

Sorry. I had to go back through this again and fix it. Thanks for pointing out my mistakes.

Why check/raise the flop instead of betting out?

I definitely lead the turn. If villain had a J he would probably call the 3-bet and raise later.

I don't like going for a flop CR. Just bet the flop.
