POKER MOUNTAIN Bonus Scoop???
Anyone know the Scoop on how the Bonus works at Poker Mountain, they have a 100% Match up to $500, it just has that FULL TILT sound, and from what I have read Full Tilt is not worth it...Is Poker Mountain's Bonus worth the Effort???

Re: POKER MOUNTAIN Bonus Scoop???
I tried the FullTilt thing and quit because the games were too tight and the bonus too hard to get. I asked this question here a couple of weeks and I the general thought was the same as FullTilt. There are a lot of other bonuses that I've not gotten yet, so I said forget it...If I get desparate, I might try it. The have no info on their website about the bonus clearing structure and that scares me even more.

Re: POKER MOUNTAIN Bonus Scoop???
The bonus isn't terrible to clear...
Every hand raked 50 cents or more counts towards clearing the bonus. Every 100 raked hands clears a $10 increment of the bonus. |

Re: POKER MOUNTAIN Bonus Scoop???
its really only 5k hands? i thought it would be like 12-15k when i first looked at it. 5k might actually be worth it if their games dont suck, but im sure they do.

Re: POKER MOUNTAIN Bonus Scoop???
5K raked, which is probably more like 7500 total in the 1/2, and a lot more than that at .5/1 or 2/4. I've found the games to be pretty darned soft.
I ended up giving up on half the bonus for the time being in order to do Stars and UB, but I'll probably come back to it before too long. Greatbrit, any chance of a reload coming up? |

Re: POKER MOUNTAIN Bonus Scoop???
I don't know if they are planning any reload bonuses yet, I've forwarded this on to marketing, see if they can tell me anything. Sounds like a good idea to me though

Re: POKER MOUNTAIN Bonus Scoop???
it's most similar to the bonus structures at Absolute and Paradise. my only observation is that because you need a 50c rake ($10 pot) to qualify on Poker Mountain (as opposed to 25c rake/$5 pot on the other two sites), you will probably have to play at least $1/2 LHE or 50c/$1 NL in order to clear it at a reasonable rate.
after that, it's just a matter of finding any tables open for you to actually play at (very low traffic in the early goings). |

Re: POKER MOUNTAIN Bonus Scoop???
What about the single table tournaments - many in the $30 - $50 range?

Re: POKER MOUNTAIN Bonus Scoop???
tylerd.. they do offer these SNG's.. however, it'll take quite awhile with the current traffic to fill a table. I'm not sure if those fees work toward the bonus either. i would guess they don't.
